During services at Maranatha, we strive to honor the Lord and bless and encourage His people! You will find:
In every service, the Word of God is proclaimed because it contains “all that pertains to life and godliness” (II Peter 1:3) and through it Christians can be “…thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” (II Timothy 3:17).
The early church described in the book of Acts “continued steadfastly in…prayers” (Acts 2:42) and so, following this example, MBC has Wednesday evening Prayer Meetings and Bible Study at 7:00. There is also a special, monthly prayer meeting following the evening Communion service. These services provide our people a time to get away from the heavy cares of life and unite with other believers in casting their burdens on the Lord.
