How to Become a Christian

Do you know that John 3:16 is the most famous verse in the Bible??
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Do you know that John 3:16 refers to you?? It says, "whosoever" - that includes you! It reaches beyond age, race, skin color or gender; it doesn't exclude anyone! Do you know that John 3:16 reveals the depth of God’s love for you?? The verse says that God "so loved" the world - that's you again! Do you know that John 3:16 is God's promise to you?? God promises that if you will believe in Jesus - not just in His existence, but in His mission and message - He will give you eternal life! |
His Mission - to take our place by bearing in his body the punishment for our sins
"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree (the cross)." ~1 Peter 2:24 His Message - that He is the only way to the Father (God) "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." ~John 14:6. His Motive - LOVE FOR YOU!! "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." ~John 15:13 |
The Good News is that you can trust Christ as your Savior right now and become a Christian! You can pray a prayer similar to this one:
"God, I know I am a sinner and that Christ alone can save me. I repent of my sinful life. I believe Jesus Christ died for me and I’m trusting Him now as my Savior."
